Live Downunder is the new name for two longstanding migration consultancies. In Australia and the Netherlands, we are also known as ‘The Immigration Group’ (TIG) and in the United Kingdom, as ‘Immigration Downunder’ (IDU). Both companies have a long and successful record in helping people to migrate to Australia. We decided that having a common trading name was a wise move for us and our clients, hence, the new name of Live Downunder.
The new name also fits well with our sister operation of ‘Live and Work Downunder (www.liveandworkdownunder.co.uk), which specialises in the Employer Sponsored and Working Holiday category of visas.
There are a few important things that you should know about us before you trust your migration application to someone with a flashy web-site or fancy advertising campaign:
We are all Australian citizens with our head office based in Perth, Western Australia. If you are intending to live in Australia, why would you talk to someone who has only lived and worked in a country other than Australia;
We employ four Registered Australian migration Agents in our team. This is your protection against those that do not know Australia’s migration laws (see www.themara.com.au).
We have a full time office in the UK.
Our Managing Director is one of Australia’s leading migration specialists who spent seven years on the Immigration Review Tribunal, the senior migration review body in Australia now known as the Migration Review Tribunal, before setting up his own migration consultancy. He also served a term as State President (Western Australia) of the Migration Institute of Australia and as a Director of the Migration Agents Registration Authority.
We have a firm company policy, which supports the requirements of the Migration Agents Code of Conduct – we do not take on a client who will not qualify for a visa.
